Class of 2029

Mr. Scott Hegen

Mr. Hegen grew up a few miles south of the Pennridge School District in Chalfont, PA. He attended Central Bucks High School West in Doylestown, PA. Following high school he graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Special Education from Millersville University and was a four year letterman on the football team.  He then began his teaching for Central Bucks School District and the Bucks County Intermediate Unit where he was a special education teacher. 

Mr. Hegen has been the House Principal for the Pennridge Classes of 2011, 2014, 2017 and 2021. For the past four years he served Pennridge High School as the Assistant Principal of Athletics and Pupil Services.

Mr. Hegen, who has lived in the Pennridge Community since 2006 is married to his wife Melanie, a Pennridge graduate, and raised his two daughters where they too graduated from Pennridge HS in 2019 and 2023. He has remained focused on engaging students in the classroom while also building a positive school culture and contributing to social-emotional learning.

Mr. Hegen greatly looks forward to supporting the needs of all learners in the Class of 2029.
