Mrs. Cara Gurysh

Mrs. Gurysh has been a part of the Pennridge School District for over 15 years. She began her career here as a social studies teacher and then worked at the district-level as an instructional coach and coordinator of the district’s cyber program. A graduate of Lock Haven University (Secondary Education-Social Studies) and Rutgers University (Masters in Education), Mrs. Gurysh continued her education at Delaware Valley University to earn her administrative certification. 

Reflecting on her own high school career, Mrs. Gurysh values her time as a member of Key Club, her school’s TV/Radio station, and basketball team.  She also found inspiration from several teachers (including both of her parents) which led to her decision to pursue a career in education.

Mrs. Gurysh resides in the Pennridge community with her husband. Her 3 adult children all are proud graduates of Pennridge High School.
